Weekend getaway (or not)
Tomorrow morning I’ll be leaving at the crack of early with the rest of my 17-person artistic ensemble of classmates for a “field trip” to the Arron Islands for the weekend. I’ll be back sometime late Sunday night. It’s technically supposed to be a history trip, but I was given our itinerary today, and it looks like this:
- Travel by bus
- Lunch and free time in Galway
- Travel by ferry
- Check into hotel, free time
- Dinner
- Sleep/party
- Breakfast
- One-hour lecture on the islands
- Horse and trap tour
- Lunch
- Free time
- Travel by ferry
- Dinner and free time
- Travel by bus
Clearly one hour out of 36 on a field trip spent discussing history is considered a quality education around here.

Oh lord, I didn’t really learn anything, but it was so beautiful! I took over 200 pictures! I’ll be uploading and posting as soon as I get some time. :D
