Last night, I was scheduled to work 4PM-12AM. Then, I had to work this morning 8AM-4PM. Minus the half hour driving each way, the half hour it took to get undressed and fall asleep, and the 45 minutes it took to eat and get ready to leave this morning, I got less than six hours of sleep. Not good for a person like me.

On top of that, my sister wanted me to get some groceries after work today, which not only sucked since I was tired and starving but also cost me $85 which is approximately a fourth of my entire paycheck.

But then, I came home. And I got to spend half an hour with my fiance before he went to work. (Hey, every second counts, right?) And THEN, Jennifer gave me my mail.

There was a letter from NYU. It was thin. I opened it up, and to my INTENSE ASTONISHMENT they have awarded me another scholarship for this year - another $7,000. That’s on top of the $15,000 I’ve gotten every year so far, plus the $1500 “supplemental scholarship” this year (whatever that is), PLUS the $2000 I received in additional aid just by requesting it.

My student loan payments are going to be like $50 less each month than they would have been without it.

My life is SO AWESOME right now. Minus the dream last night about being pregnant with twins.
